Private swap

Swap privately.
No on-chain link.

Your coins travel through two independent exchanges and a buffer token before they reach you, so the wallet you send from and the wallet you receive on are not connected on the blockchain.

How it works

Two exchanges, one buffer, no link

A normal swap is one trade, so what you send and what you get can be matched on-chain. A private swap splits the route in two.

  1. You send

From your wallet to a one-time deposit address.

  2. Exchange one

Your coins are sold for a buffer token.

  3. Buffer

The buffer moves between two independent exchanges.

  4. Exchange two

The buffer is sold for the coin you asked for.

  5. You receive

Paid to your wallet from a different source.

No on-chain link

Anyone following your deposit sees it reach an exchange and stop there. Anyone looking at your payout sees it come from a different exchange. Nothing on the blockchain ties the two together.

Why private

Privacy without the hassle

Everything a normal Nonease swap gives you, with the trail cut in the middle.

  • No on-chain link

Your deposit and your payout are separate transactions, from separate exchanges.

  • No account

No sign-up and no password. Paste your address, send, and you are done.

  • Your coins, never ours

Nothing is held on your behalf. The payout goes straight to your wallet.

  • Best rate on the route

The rate is chosen automatically across the whole route, both exchanges included.

Good to know

How it differs from a normal swap

Privacy has a few costs. Here they are, plainly.

  • Floating rate only

Your coins are traded twice, at two moments, so the amount shown is an estimate. The final amount is set as the swap completes and can move slightly either way.

  • A higher minimum

Two trades instead of one means a higher minimum, usually around $100. The calculator always shows the exact figure for your pair.

  • A little more time

Two exchanges take longer than one. Expect a private swap to take somewhat longer than a normal swap.

  • 72 hours to send

If no deposit arrives within 72 hours, the swap expires. Start a new one whenever you are ready.

Questions

Private swaps, answered

What people ask before their first private swap.

What is a private swap?

A swap that routes your coins through two independent exchanges and a buffer token instead of one trade. The deposit you send and the payout you receive end up as unrelated transactions on the blockchain.

Does it make me anonymous?

It cuts one important link: the one between the address you send from and the address you receive on. It does not erase every trace. Your own wallets, exchanges you use elsewhere and what you do with the coins afterwards can still reveal things. Think of it as breaking the trail, not hiding everything.

Why is there no fixed rate?

Your coins are traded twice, at two different moments, so the final amount depends on the market at each step. That is why private swaps always use a floating rate.

Do I need a refund address?

No, it is optional. Add one if you want a failed swap returned to a particular address.

What does it cost?

The fee is built into the rate you see, together with network fees. There is nothing extra to pay on top.

What if something goes wrong?

Keep your swap link. If a swap seems stuck, open the chat from its status page and quote the exchange ID. We will follow it up with our exchange partner.
